Strata communities – people living in and owning apartments, units, and townhouses governed under the Owners Corporation Act – have different needs than people living in standalone homes.
As we transition to a zero carbon economy, and face the impacts of climate change, strata communities must be acknowledged and supported.
Too often, these communities are left out when it comes to conversations, programs, and policy about residential living in Australia.
The High Life Expo seeks to help fill this gap by putting apartment, unit, and townhouse communities at the centre of this event.

Thanks to lived experience, and years of collaboration with the strata sector and communities, our staff have a deep passion for sustainability, community, and better living in apartments, units, and townhouses. We see the need to advocate for and with the sector, to create and share resources, and we see the opportunity to retrofit these buildings to become part of our city’s sustainable, liveable future.

Members benefit from representation, support, advice, and promotion. With Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Best Practice Guidelines on regulatory and legislative amendments, updates on VCAT determinations and emerging issues, SCA members are best placed to manage owners corporations and empower Lot Owners and occupiers.
